Canvas Arts, Inc. uses state-of-the-art processes that will reproduce your photo onto canvas. To Ensure the Highest Quality Reproductions of Your Photos, Please Follow the Guidelines Below for... Photos, Negatives & Slides | Digital Images PHOTOS, NEGATIVES & SLIDES Color photos, slides, negatives (35mm only), B&W, or sepia tone photos can be reproduced. Though not preferred, at times, Polaroid photos can be used for photo-to-canvas reproduction. Such Polaroids must be relatively new and in excellent condition. If you would like to use a Polaroid, please call Canvas Arts prior to placing your order. COPIES of one-of-a-kind photos are encouraged, as we cannot be responsible for loss or damage to one-of-a-kind originals. Select a photo that is in focus, is colorful, and that has good detail. Avoid blurry or dark photographs. Clear sharp photos reproduce wonderfully. Photos with the main point of interest at least 3/4 the size of the photograph reproduce best. Please note that your photo will be cropped for the best effect. Keep in mind that a square photo cannot be placed as a rectangle. If you choose, we can crop out and reproduce only the portion of your photo. To do so, please photocopy your picture (do not use original) and indicate where you want to crop your image. Be as accurate as possible. We can enhance your picture by contrasting, lightening, darkening or photo retouching to take out scratches and nicks. If mailing a paper photo, please do not write on the front or back of the photograph. If you are mailing your photograph to us, it must lay flat in the envelope you are using. Do not fold your photos. Also, placing your photo(s) between two stiff-backed pieces of material, such as cardboard, is strongly encouraged. Please write "PHOTOS ENCLOSED--DO NOT BEND" on your mailing envelope, so that the post office handles your photos properly.
